There are some general rules we live by like always listen to your mom, wash whites and colors separately, say 'hello' when you answer the phone, or don't cross a busy street blindfolded. We typically select our wardrobe with a central idea in mind: how do we want people to see us? Normally, we don't randomly put our hand in the closet and put on the first thing we pull out, except maybe for sick days or if our alarm clock didn't go off again! Most of us give some thought to what we will be doing that day and how to dress appropriately.
